If an Argus feed were archived for the area in which a crime were committed outdoors, and the images were coordinated with ground based security cameras, the prosecution could show the crime almost as if by a time machine, tracking the perpetrators leaving the scene until they came into view of security cameras on the ground. A seamless 3D image could be created, revealing their identities, the way images are fused from many cameras already. It would be powerful evidence.
Permalink Reply by Humble Pie on January 28, 2013 at 5:41pm It's funny, that was *exactly* what I thought when I saw this. Though, even if it were to be used that way, it would be enormously expensive. Far more than any but the wealthiest could afford. And crimes committed at night or even among dense buildings would be well covered. A shame, really.
