Event Description
For everyone who has ever found humor in the idea of God! In Act I Brother Sam recounts a hair-raising childhood among “tongues-speaking, snake-handling, frothing at the mouth holy rollers from the Ozarks,” and his subsequent “reversion to the natural atheistic state into which we all are born.” Act II has Brother Sam leading a Sunday School class dedicated to the role of the penis throughout the Bible. Patriarchs and Penises contains a dizzying number of provocative ideas, expressed in language which, if not exactly of the everyday variety, is remarkable in its clarity and authenticity. That Brother Sam crams so many laughs into so much substance is what makes Patriarchs and Penises an experience like no other.

Landover Baptists, Freehold Iowa and now Sam with Jehovah penis for us to "behold?" Has to be another hoot. I'm interested in carpooling with Atheists from Charleston, SC we'd need to leave before noon to get there early and then have a good rested night driver to get back to Charleston as some of us nap on the way home.
