hi everyone
i'm jeric from Leaders In Free Thought, the atheist/skeptic group at CSU. I want to invite all of you to come see Joe Nickell this wednesday at 5:30pm. we will host him in room A104 in the Clark building on campus. it is the big building next to the library (to the east).
Joe Nickell is considered the world’s leading paranormal investigator. He is a senior Research Fellow for CSICOP, the Center for Inquiry (CFI), and writes regularly for their journal, the Skeptical Inquirer. A former professional stage magician and private investigator, he has used his varied background to investigate myths and mysteries, frauds, forgeries, and hoaxes. He has been called “the modern Sherlock Holmes,” “the original ghost buster,” and “the real-life Scully”.
In contrast to mystery-mongerers on the one hand and so-called debunkers on the other, Nickell believes that mysteries should actually be investigated with a view toward solving them.
