Darwin Day Broward 2010

Join us again as we celebrate the birthday of Charles
Darwin with a day of Science.

This year Broward College North Campus will be our
host. We have planned an all day event, with the AM
hours geared towards public school teachers. At
noon, the event is open to the public. With children's
activities, exhibits and lectures. This years speakers
include:

Ken Westrervelt of FLASH to speak on Earthworms
and Darwin's study of them. (confirmed),

Eric Ward, Author of "Principles of Evolution",
(confirmed)

Capt. Dan Kipnis on the Environment (not yet
confirmed),

Palm Beach Zoo live animal lecture "Animal
adaptations". ( confirmed - limited to first 125 people),

Debra Walker Ph.D of Florida Citizens for Science on
Biology in our public schools and legislation affecting
education (confirmed)

and our main speaker is a Youtube champion for
science, AronRa. (confirmed)
