Australian Human Rights Submission:
A group of Australians lead by our very own Kristy Vensson submitted a paper to Australia's Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission on "Freedom of Religion and Belief in the 21st Century".
"Atheist Nexus provided an opportunity for atheists from around Australia to combine their ideas and opinions to make a real difference to government policy in this country. We hope this project will be the first of many, and inspire other AN groups to use the power of social networking to lobby for positive changes in their own communities." Kristy

As an atheist I'm all for spiritualism as long as the individual remains open to the light of science.
Jane Goddall did a good job of measuring primate nurturance. It takes years of field work, meticulous observation. No "control group" is necessary.
A group for active atheist bloggers to actively support eachother through various means such as commenting, linking, voting, joining debates, and helping out with other issues on the forum. :)
This group is devoted to ending anti-atheist bigotry by (1) finding it and labeling it bigotry, (2) mobilizing atheists to express opposition, and (3) educating others about the costs of anti-atheist bigotry.
